Invited in the 2000s by Vacances Bleues to create an art trail in a Chantilly hotel, his works now find in the magnificently renovated décor of the Splendid a setting befitting his style and ambition: to give each of us back a little of our childlike soul through the adventures of heroes in search of themselves, as well as answers to the eternal questions of art...

Between painting and literature, Jean Le Gac has built up his work through a series of fictions in which he himself is the hero: using drawing, painting, watercolor, pastel or photography, and always writing, the artist likes to present himself as the hero of a popular adventure novel, mixing references to the history of Art and personal memories.

Recently renovated with noble materials, our 146 non-smoking rooms and suites are ideal for couples and families alike, who can enjoy a vacation in the Landes region whatever the season..
